Waldemart Klyuzko, 1985, Ukraine

Photo: Sofie Isaksson

"Close the Sky" shouts the red-and-white tape on the windows of town hall. These are the colours used to warn of everyday dangers such as broken glass. Here at Rådhuset, it is as if democracy itself is threatened.

From war-ravaged Ukraine, the artist brings the experience of deadly threat when missiles are fired at cities and villages. If the evil of Russia’s dictator is not stopped, all of humanity will be in danger, says Waldemart Klyuzko and continues: Keeping the sky safe is vital to saving human lives. Every country must have a protected sky. For this, we must unite and hold strong.

Klyuzko extends his gratitude to everyone who supports the battle against evil and protects the truth.
