I’ve been outside for way too long

This artwork is a frozen park bench made of aluminium. A thin layer of frost, about the width of a sitting person, has formed in the middle of the bench. The work revolves around the experience of isolation and exclusion, moments and situations of stillness and stagnation that are felt forever. About time that stops. The bench touches on both personal experiences and broader societal issues, but at its core is the human experience of being left out.
