Artist Kristin Ylikiiskilä Broberg works with situations in which people activate her works themselves. She bases the works on everyday functions, things that already exist around us, and lets them become the starting point for new encounters. In Tivedstorp, the focus is on how we live in relation to nature. Simple structures take shape, rooted in the idiom of outdoor life: the temporary, the functional and that which is built to last and protect. In See You at the Grill, the shared barbecue site is examined as a social hub. In See You on the Trail, a path emerges in which people follow the markings and tramp along it together, step by step. The work changes over time. Traces of conversations and movements remain and continue to shape the place.
