Malin Tivenius works with different techniques but is based on a vacillatory approach to the three-dimensional object either as a room or a sculpture. The focus of her work is often fixed on empty surfaces or what seems to be removed or invisible.
It is clear that casting and moulding is an important technique in practice, but the choice of working method also goes hand in hand with an investigation of the "negative" in an extended perspective.
