1979, Taiwan

Kuei-Chih Lee, a Taiwanese environmental artist, uses his art to connect with nature and explore the philosophy of the organic world. Through physical labor and engagement with natural elements, he sculpts the flowing energy of nature. Kuei-Chih often employs the powerful metaphor of water, rooted in Chinese philosophy, to provoke contemplation. His work bridges the gap between the material and immaterial, exploring the balance between Motion and Stillness, inner and outer states of mind. Kuei-Chih's art also delves into the relationships among creation, humanity, nature, and the environment.
